I'm picnic-ing in the rain...

Last Wednesday Marie-Louise, Bastienne, Eva, Ericka, Heather, and I took the bus to St. Victor sur Loire (a cutesy town with a beach on the Loire river). But the gray clouds started rolling in on the bus ride there and by the time we walked to the beach to have a picnic it was raining. It was really pretty to see but the adventure continued as there was no bus back from St. Victor and we needed to walk 6km to Roche la Moliere. Being six of us no cars were stopping in the pouring rain to pick us up, until an electricity van stopped and said we could climb in back. So there we were; two Germans, a Mexican, a Canary Islander, an American, and a British girl all toppling over each other next to the drills and shovels and cones in the back of the van. It worked out perfectly though because the bus back pulled up right when we arrived at the stop.
