Saint-Etienne/ Rochetaillée

I didn't take many pictures in my city now that I look back on it, well for my standards at least. Chris and I spent most of our time walking a bit about my city or taking the scenic walk to the castle town nearby of Rochetaillée. Or filling out bellies with yummy food with English teachers I work with, Martine and Corinne. I think the best part about spedning time with them was feeling how entertaining Chris and I can be together. We work really well together when telling stories, feeding off each other and surprisingly making Martine and Jean-Baptiste crack up. Although as Chris mentioned the meals here put you in such a blissful mood that its impossible to not have a good time. The combinations of wine, coffe, and cider mixed with Martine's blueberry pie: aka crack and Chris and I's attenpt at crepes which Corinne called flan/pancakes (because they were too thick), brought on intellectual conversation and made me smile to see them finally meet someone I have been gushing about for so long. That's what I miss the most with him is doing the everyday things, cooking and walking and talking, and I am so glad we were able to take a break in my city from the adventurous traveling to relax and enjoy each others' company.
